Pass a Tuberculosis Test to maintain a healthy and safe environment for clients.

Expectations for PCAs at AHH, INC:

Age Requirement

Must be at least 16 years old to qualify as a PCA.

Care Plan Compliance

Provide PCA services in accordance with the client's care plan.

Effective Communication

Ability to communicate effectively with clients and respond to their needs appropriately.

Reporting

Report any changes in the client's condition to the qualified professional overseeing their care.

Record Keeping

Maintain accurate daily written records, including time sheets, to track client care.

Training and Orientation

Complete training and orientation related to the specific needs of the client.

Supervision

Be supervised by either the client or a qualified professional, ensuring the highest quality of care.

A PCA at AHH, INC may not be:

  • The paid legal guardian of an adult.
  • The legal guardian of a minor.
  • The parent or stepparent of a minor child recipient.
  • A recipient of PCA services.
  • The responsible party for a recipient.
  • The spouse of a recipient.
